  •   This tour was an absolute highlight of our vacation. In fact, this was one of our favorite guided tours on any vacation! Rocio provides exceptional historical, social, and religious context… read more to the regional food scene. She provides such a genuine excitement for her city, her country and, of course, for delicious poblano food! We ate extremely well, but more importantly, we appreciated her infectious energy and passion for gastronomy and for Puebla. We couldn’t recommend her tour enough!

Rocio is great! My party consisted of my husband of German descent, my uncle and cousin who are native poblanos, and myself. She made everyone feel welcome and even translated… read more in Spanish for my cousin and uncle when I could not find the words in my Spanish vocabulary.
Her restaurant selection is knowledgeable and her insight into the city even more amazing.
I have poblano roots but feel that this tour really made me connect to with them after 12 years,

  •   Rocio is absolutely amazing. We spent four hours with her several days ago touring Puebla and have already returned to two of the places she took us to. Her depth… read more of knowledge and passion about the culture of her city and country, as well has her clearly well thought-out tour and choices of places to stop for a bite to eat make this experience far far above average. I highly recommend doing this tour early in your stay because you will be stuffed by the midway point and will want to return to many of the places she takes you. Rocio is also a wealth of information about the city and surrounding areas and freely recommends other restaurants and activities. Do not hesitate to book this tour, you will not regret it!!

I signed up for this tour to get an introduction to food and what I received was so much more. I knew I had made the right choice in tour… read more at the first stop with the breakfast foods made from indigenous ingredients and traditional recipes. It was the food/agricultural/cultural/religious and political information and context that went with every step of the tour that made the day such a worthwhile and entertaining day. In total, I think we made 8 or 9 stops and almost all included several different items to taste. I came home with enough food for another two delicious meals. I’m going to tell all my friends that come to Mexico that is is a “must do” activity in Puebla.
